Hi, my name is
Anton Nikitenko.
I design resilient & scalable software.
I'm a DevOps engineer specializing in architecting & implementing scalable, reliable infrastructure for critical business operations, and occasionally developing a wide range of data-driven software solutions. Currently, I'm focused on upgrading and introducing new DevOps technologies at Zetron
About Me
Hi! My name is Anton, I’m a DevOps engineer with experience architecting and developing cloud-based software applications for data-driven teams. Throughout my time at the University of Victoria, I gained valuable experience developing software for safety critical communications with Zetron, and improving Middle Mile Logistics operations at Amazon. Following a returning full-time position at Amazon where I continued architecting software for warehouse operations, I moved to work as a Data Science Software Engineer at Wood Mackenzie. In that position I performed many DevOps duties including managing the team’s AWS resources, leading CI/CD initiatives, and support multi-terabyte ETL processes for the oil & gas industry.
Today, I’m working as a DevOps engineer at Zetron, working with my team to transition the organization to a DevOps culture, implementing CI/CD, immutable architecture and security & monitoring solutions.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, climbing, board games, and baking!
